March

Playroom Re-do
I've been wanting to re-organize Adeline's play area for a long time, and I finally had the opportunity to go to Ikea to get the necessary furniture in mid-March.
Here's the before picture:

And here's after!

We just added some storage shelving to keep things organized, and it made a huge difference!

St. Patty's Day
Our little Leprechaun

Fun at the Playground and in the backyard

We like to have dinner outside as soon as it's warm enough!

Chuck E Cheese
Miss Chris generously hosted a party at Chuck E Cheese to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of Miss Chris' Childcare!  I havent been there since I was a kid, so it was a little overwhelming at first, but we had fun!

Adeline and Bella love to dance!

Easter Egg Hunt
Miss Chris had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in her yard.  It was too cold for Adeline's real Easter dress, but we had fun anyway!

Recessed Lighting
Rob installed recessed lighting in our stairwell.  Such a big upgrade!

Big News!
In mid-March, Adeline was eating dinner and suddenly asked us to take her to the potty.  She went pee-pee on the potty for the first time and started potty training right after that!  By March 25th, she was wearing real undies full-time!  She's had a few accidents, of course, but only wears diapers during naptime and at night while she's sleeping!  We are so proud of her!

Easter Weekend

We went to Raleigh for Easter weekend to celebrate with Rob's parents and his sister's family.  We started out early on Saturday morning

We went to a great breakfast downtown and then to Marbles, the children's museum.

Of course Adeline headed straight to the baby dolls in the mock pediatrician's office

She also liked the vet area

And she LOVED the water area! Look at that smile!

Giant Legos!

In this basketball area, she didn't hesitate at all - she went straight in there to dunk with the big boys!  She didnt even mind when she was hit by other basketballs flying around!

This was a huge climbing area!

We were ALL worn out on the way home!

But... neither Adeline nor Cooper took a nap once we got home.  So we spent the rest of the afternoon outside.

We had a little Easter Egg hunt in the yard

The guys found a deep hole in the yard, and for some reason the kids were convinced that the Easter Bunny was in there!

Here they are trying to get him out with their sticks!

It was a beautiful day!

Adeline and Cooper are just too cute together.

Sunday morning -
Opening their Easter baskets:

On Easter Sunday, we tried to get a good picture of them together. This is the best we could do:

Such a fun weekend together!!
