On her actual birthday, we went to the doctor for her 2-year check-up. She impressed the doctor with her social and language skills, and the doctor was totally blown away that she has been potty-trained since March! She ranked in the 90th percentile for height and 60th percentile for weight. She definitely has her Daddy's build!
After the doctor, we went out to dinner and ice cream. We saved a few gifts from Yaya and Poppa for her to open on her big day too.
I thought it would be fun to capture some facts on each of Adeline's birthdays so we can see how she changes each year. Here's Adeline as a TWO year old:
Favorite toys: baby dolls and balls
Favorite Activity: anything outside, such as swinging or going down the slide
Favorite TV show: Bubble Guppies
Funny things she says: She calls Miss Chris "Pissie" and her cousin Cooper "Tooper". She says "Oomph" when she wants to be picked up.
Favorite birthday gift: Her vacuum and her baby stroller
Favorite color: purple

Favorite food: Raisins
We are so proud of our little girl. She is so funny - always coming up with funny things to do or say to make us laugh, like make funny faces or hide and "scare" us. She loves to be tickled. She is really compassionate and affectionate, especially toward babies or Mommy and Daddy. She can be VERY stubborn, and wants to do things her way and all by herself. She is very particular and likes everything to be neat and clean. She is constantly going around the house and shutting all the doors. One of her favorite things to do is lounge in bed with us in the morning on the weekends and watch cartoons. (I think it might be Rob's favorite thing too!)
We are so lucky to be her parents.
